Hit Man (2023)
Not an Action Rom-Com
The only time i laughed in the movie was when the lady lawyer was defending the first criminal and putting all the blame on Gary in the name of the humanity. That's it.
The movie had a slow build up, giving u insight bout the undercover work Gary was doing and it is a noble cause, stopping a crime but from the moment the romantic lead entered, the movie derailed. And the ending kinda took out all the good things (however much measly amount they were) away for sure. Because these things surely will give hope to someone that u can get away from a wrong doing and live happily ever after.
As for acting, Glen really has the unreadable face with one or two expressions which worked in his favor in this movie. But Adria. You know those actresses in B or C grade movies where their acts immediately tell u they are fishy and acting and with no subtlety trying to pry information outta u and batting eyelashes to make u do something, her acting in this movie belongs in that category. Anytime she was on screen, i had to endure a fake performance.
There was barely any action, any comedy and romantic romance, so defining which genre this one belongs to is hard. But calling it a Rom-Com will be a huge disservice to the genre and insult to the original Rom-Coms.
The Fall Guy (2024)
A one time only time pass
I have to give it to the ppl who made the trailer because the trailer was soooo promising about an action pack movie which divulge into the life of Hollywood stuntmen and what u get is mehhhh. The actions were good but some felt way too dragged for no reason. The cheesy romantic plot was sooooooooo unnecessary only because Emily Blunt couldn't make the romance between her and Gosling believable at all. It was like watching two cousins trying to act romantic and felt like she phoned it through the whole movie, so it seemed an unnecessary subplot. Ryan Gosling was like in his Ken era during his lover boy moments. He worked hard there's no doubt. It was fun to see the BTS for how the stunt works are being done. But i must appreciate Aaron Taylor Johnson, the guy did so good as a douchebag that u r bound to dislike him, and that's a win for him for sure. And when u know the mysterious villain by the very first look at them, that's a failure for the villain for sure.
I am glad i saved my money by not going to the theater and watching it online, otherwise i would have cried for refund for sure.
Bridgerton (2020)
All the glitters are not gold
This is the 3rd season of Bridgertons and I'm tired. New shiny costumes, elaborate sets, pretty ppl, soothing music, that's about it for this show. The only book i liked from the series was book 2 and that was unnecessarily butchered in the name of drama in season 2.
I am not much for historical accuracy as I don't have vast knowledge on British History, but i do care for a bit of logic, a bit of beautiful performances and a bit of beautiful making. But this show has already exhausted all of their resources and at this point everything looks like it was a chore to be done.
I am glad Nicola aka Penelope got her story for season 3 but boy was it felt so tiring to watch her going to a ball to just end up crying every single time. The writers were just going in a cycle of dress up - ball- cry - outing - dress up - ball - cry - outing. I think 3 episodes should have been enough to wrap this whole thing up.
And don't get me started on Luke aka Colin. I have never felt such second hand embarrassment for any lead like i felt for him. The wooden performance with one facial expression just shows getting physically attractive can not save an underwhelming performance. Especially beside Jonathan and the other Luke, who tend to steal the scene anytime they are in it, just like Claudia. In theory the makers are telling u Colin is now a suave sexy charming fella but on screen he came across confused little boy, reading dialogues from the teleprompter and delivering them without much conviction.
I don't know why i keep torturing myself by watching these shows, this can't be even passed as a time pass. The makers have budgets, why not invest in good writers and good storytelling? Even the good actors seemed like they were in the show to play dress up only and delivered half hearted performances. My expectations for season 4 is wayyyyyyyy below 0.
Maxton Hall - Die Welt zwischen uns (2024)
Dreams are important too
So the basic storyline is : rich boy meets poor but ambitious girl whose biggest goal in life is to get in OXFORD, they hate each other at first but when the girl gives the guy a reality check, he falls for her but rich parents no like his association with poor ppl so threatens him with consequences if he kept it up and then boy girl back to square one.
A few days ago i was questioning myself about what is the feeling of everything after watching Prime's latest obsession because ppl of that project kept talking about feeling everything and bla bla bla which I didn't feel anywhere near to their description. And seeing Maxton Hall's promo, one might think it's another of those rich ppl high school drama. Yes it is. But it is more than just that.
The script is very generic but how do u keep ur audience enthralled with to keep watching for 6 episodes in a row? Very easy. Amazing acting and the making. Unrealistic age aside (where no one looks 18 yrs old), every actor was so good! Because I felt every emotion they were feeling! I felt for every situation they were going through. The show portrayed two sides of the social dynamics in such a gripping way. U get to see how rich parents put pressure on their kids and the said rich kids keep a nonchalant attitude to keep themselves safe from the world but inside, all they want is someone to understand them.
On the other side, u see a girl with a loving family who despite being poor gives her the freedom to choose her path and love her for no matter what.
But the best part, how the actors acted out each and every scene. It was like watching ppl showing real emotion and not "ACTING". The lead actress stole my heart. Especially whenever she was on screen with her father, those were such wholesome scenes because that's how parents should be, showering u with unconditional love. The lead actor was also not just a pretty face. He was equally matching her pros to pros.
Coming to direction and screenplay and cinematography, loved them. (The main duty in the school being arranging parties aside). The seamless transition of scenes are a plus point from me.
And now i feel how underrated Non- English contents are, also the actors. But thanks to the online streaming platforms the world is getting to see how there are wonderful actors aside from "Hollywood" ppl. I bet if this show was made with "Americans", they would have brought over the top out of place emotions and called it their best artistic display from the raw place of their hearts.
Anyhow, i am glad to watch this show, i laughed, i cried and i am waiting to see more of their journey.
And whoever chose to put the song "Run Like a River" in the show deserves a raise.
The Idea of You (2024)
What is the feeling of everything?
My first thought revolving around this movie started with this line " I felt everything" which was after seeing the reviews on Social Medias of those who attended the early screenings where this was the most common review. So i kept thinking, what's the feeling of "Everything"? How does it feel? Because the movie didn't make me feel giddy with joy, overwhelmed with emotion or huffing with rage. Instead i felt cringe at places, less than the book which was a cringe fest on its own, then a chuckle here and there but i just didn't feel "Everything". So how did so many ppl feel it?
I would give it to the thought of this story. I don't give a damn bout if its bout Harry Styles or whoever. It's a very much realistic story and then made into a movie. The thoughts were in the right place and the double standard of the dating scenario does exist, and women have always been scrutinized if they get into a relationship, that too with a younger guy after divorce because in society's eyes, once u r divorced means ur life is over and u lost ur chance at a better life. That's where the line from the movie "Ppl hate happy women" does strike a chord cause it's a fact. And it's the opposite for men. It's harder when you have a child, so of course the child comes first for a mother before any other relationship, while the father can happily live another life with someone new and that's what happened in this story too. Also how Social Medias could ruin a relationship was portrayed pretty perfectly. So the thought process was in the right place for both in movie and book, but the delivery could have been much better.
Again and again, it's the same situation in every movies now a days, which is lack of character building. Because I don't get why Hayes was intrigued by Solene after one meeting? Because there wasn't enough in depth conversation to have that happen, but let's just assume everyone read the book, they knew this gonna happen, so, done. Seriously, they had two good actors who could have done so much more if the script writer bothered to dive a little deep as this age gap romance was not just physical, it was emotional and there wasn't enough banter between them to establish that deep relationship so fast.
And the BoyBand. Amazon went all out on creating a BoyBand, recreating Coachella, a performing arena for what? Show them in montages? Half the movie was montages and i do get why but such a waste of those fellas.
Coming to acting, the casting was spot on because both Anne and Nicholas resemble their book version but i felt Anne was a bit less authentic when it wasn't emotional stuff. And in places like the first meeting with Hayes, i could feel she's "Acting". As for Nicholas, the only thing not working for him was he's not a believable 24 yrs old from appearance, and the uncanny lookalike situation him and Anne has going, it's hard to ignore. But both him and Anne shined when it came to emotional scenes. There's so many chances to put in some more conversation throughout the montages because Solene and Hayes clicked because of their matching intellectual. Especially the conversation about Murakami. Such missed opportunities as usual.
I liked Ella Rubin, she did what she was supposed to do but Reid my man, he also looked like he WAS acting.
The ending though, it was pretty satisfying except Nicholas's facial hair. The guy should put his foot down when Amazon appoints the horrible Hair and Make up for him. Also, the R-rating is absurd, because there's barely anything explicit. NC-17 would have been okay.
But, nothing is lost because the movie delivered one of the best album for a movie with catchy songs. Nicholas Galitzine though one man band showed he could do anything, Sing, Dance and ACT. This is probably a dream come true role for someone who has interest in all of those aspects. A duet with Anne would have been pretty cool, another missed opportunity. That's okay. Savan Kotecha, man, he really gave audience the BoyBand experience which i have been missing since Backstreet Boys, i even dreamed for 4Towns and BroZone physical concerts. I am grooving on "Guard Down" and "Taste" way too much.
So, is this movie "Feel Everything" "Oscar Contender" "I laughed, I Cried" good? Not much but its a good time pass. U can have a movie night with the girlfriends and gush over Solene and Hayes and then moan over ur own life.
Baby Reindeer (2024)
Brutally honest and utterly screwed
I have no words. In a time where a show like Euphoria is held in such high regards and given Emmys like u r distributing cookies, I would say everyone needs to watch "Baby Reindeer". The performances are so honest that it felt real. I was genuinely scared of Jessica Gunning, what a performance, the mood swings acted out so effortlessly. And Richard Gadd, what a story and what a performance. U won't feel cheering for him but u will be able to feel his emotional states. This story hits chords in so many ways and the honest depiction is what got me hooked. Nothing fancy, no over the top actor for the sake of publicity. Just a true story with honest performances.
Música (2024)
Those were some visual interpretation of beats !!!
What i absolutely loved about the movie was how the beat interpretations were filmed because it's not an easy job to bring so many people together and create a visual of how every note is being made and then those notes coming together to create music!!! Hats off to all those people who were dancing, playing, jump roping, stomping, clapping for those scenes.
And then the lyrics showcasing on the walls of the subway station and the ceiling, such a brilliant touch!!!
And the double dating scene !!! That will surely give u a theatre experience as i have never seen something like that in a movie, kudos to all the creative people for making that happen so smoothly !!!
And, Diego !!! I have been a fan of Diego for over 3 years so i was so happy to see him getting a movie and letting ppl see his origin story. To be honest, i would have enjoyed the movie more if it was just Diego and Rudy discussing life because the texting between Hailey and Rudy (Diego) was so hilarious. But the love triangle kinda fell flat. There was everything in the movie to make it a cutesy RomCom but felt something missing, like the last missing sprinkle of sugar on a dessert.
Fabbricante di lacrime (2024)
Forbidden romance failed to make me understand why they felt it was forbidden
The cinematography in the trailer piqued my interest because it looked absolutely beautiful and as i already watched Twilight, thought maybe this could be a better version of that because by now the maker should have known what lacked in Twilight so that this one could be better. As usual, i was wrong.
The movie didn't deliver much in terms of depth or character growth. We don't know why Margaret was so attached to Rigel and awful to Nica. No elaboration over why the couple felt compelled to adopt two teenagers, that too just by seeing Rigel playing piano. Also why they thought their romance was forbidden when they are not even related.
The sexual tension was there between the leads but still felt a bit flat. And acting in places were also flat. The supporting actors from the school were really bad and that side story of the two girls wasn't needed in the sense that it didn't add any value to the story or had any impact on Nica's friendship with them. The lackluster third act as usual made no sense, it could have been something powerful but instead the court scene was almost cheesy because i don't think anyone talks like that in court.
One thing i must gush about is the background music, especially the piano piece playing through the movie is so soulful and soothing, it was the best thing in there, sorry to the composers that their masterpieces were wasted on such a mediocre cinema.
The Gentlemen (2024)
The best thing Netflix has the honor to stream
Not gonna lie, didn't see the trailer or didn't see any promotions, just stumbled upon it while scrolling and thought i have nothing better to watch, let's watch this. It just bowled me over !!! WHAT A SERIES !!! Usually when I'm watching a series, my finger is always on the forward key and i kinda fast forward most of 'em but this was the FIRST time i watched every episode from the beginning to end and not a single moment of boredom. The story, the director, the screenplay, the cinematography, the dialogues and the acting, u can't get anything better like this anywhere else. The humors were great, jokes spot on. A bit violent but that's doable. But most important, the pacing keeps u so captivated !!! I won't spoil with any spoiler, but it's a must must must watch !!!
Migration (2023)
I wish we tasted awful 😂
What a gem of a movie !!! I don't care if it was a duck version of Rio, it was worth watching after some awfully high ranked rubbish i endured past few months !!! (My bar has been pretty low so this was a great change !!!)
Beautiful animation, beautiful scenarios, beautiful colors, no forced comedy but just pure joy !!! And GWEN !!! If i have a way to adopt her, i will do it in a blink of an eye!!! What a hoot !!! I loved every character but GWEN will be my favorite of all. And calling a crocodile Mr. Toothpick, go girllllll !!!! And I'm sorry that u don't taste so awful :)
I can totally relate to Dex and Gwen when it comes to their dad, Mack, because mine's the exact same growing up, always worrying of getting lost, always following specific rules, never venture into unknowns or experiment with new food or doing anything adventures with us even though he himself was an army person, so weird!!! So this little adventure of theirs is so fun to watch !!!
I really have to give to the voice actors ! Most animated movies especially disney these days have been trying to lure audience by casting some big names who are just big names but empty talents when it comes to voice acting, so it's very refreshing to see each and every person in the cast nailing their birds so crazily, and delivering the dialogues with such convictions. Over dramatic--- yes, and it works so well. I am just really happy !!!
This movie is what i want to get lost in when i am watching a movie and tbh an animation movie achieving such a high level of comedy where human acted ones are failing miserably these days should be a concern for the humans because its easy to make people cry, but its very hard to make someone laugh with abundance.
All of Us Strangers (2023)
Something unexpected
With the way movies are being hyped these days and then just to come out as super mediocre, i was not very hopeful about this movie but i am glad that i was so wrong. I can understand the critics calling it hauntingly beautiful. The promos didn't prepare me for the waterwork. And i was bawling my eyes out during Adam's one o one interactions with his parents. Where he was telling his father how he used to cry in his room because of the bullying in school and his father telling him why he didn't go up there consoling him. That scene with his mother where they were talking bout what happened to him after they died and how unfair it was that they didn't get to see him grow up. Those scenes hit pretty hard. And Andrew Scott probably gave the performance of his lifetime. Jamie, Claire, Paul were as amazing. I don't know if i could watch it again but i am glad i watched it once and that's an experience i will never forget.
Leap Year (2010)
An underrated gem of a movie
I have lost the count of just how many times i have watched this movie but never thought of writing any review for it. But after watching way too many mediocre RomComs, i had to write my love appreciation for this little gem of a movie.
Leap Year is that escapism you look for in a RomCom where you get lost with the characters and enjoy their journey to the happily ever after. Here, you get invested in Anna's journey to Ireland to propose her boyfriend on 29th February but at the same time root for her and her guide for that journey, Declan to find happiness together. Full of comedic, romantic moments where Amy and Matt shined so brightly. The chemistry between a hopeless romantic lady and grumpy guy were portrayed to perfection. And i have seen so many bad movies that I'm giving this one a solid 10 because this movie makes me happy and i can get lost in beautiful Ireland with Anna and Declan and be part of their chaotic journey.
Anyone But You (2023)
Why oh whyyyyyyyyy!!!!!
Why it is so hard to make a RomCom these days? Why the scripts are getting cringey with each passing movie? Why actors who can't act are getting cast when there are really good actors out there? Why two leads with zero chemistry were chosen to star in a RomCom??????? Just whyyyyyyyyyyy ???
With the heavy promotion and non stop praiseful articles on yahoo led me to watch this masterpiece because yahoo said this movie is a gem. And again i fell in their trap. I don't remember when was the last time i saw an actress deliver such a monotonous performance in a romantic comedy!!! Sydney was just uttering her dialogues without even meaning anything, with dead eyes and dead facial expressions!!! She was probably playing that nonchalant type but it was hard to watch. And Glenn trying so hard to be comedic. It was embarrassing!!! The forced comedy, bland acting, even blander sub plots with blander supporting cast, even if i wanted "a mindless escapism", i wouldn't choose/recommend this.
My 2 ⭐ are for Australia and the Koala. I will just go and watch "Leap Year" to make myself feel better.
The Tiger's Apprentice (2024)
Suffers the same fate of every other movie these days --- Undercooked
Anyone who has watched Kung Fu Panda, of course could see a parallel that a guy unexpectedly got chosen as a guardian of a stone like PO got chosen as the dragon warrior and then began his journey of becoming worthy, here Tom the recently appointed guardian has just known of his power but the movie doesn't spend much time delving into showing him polishing his skills, it's just there, he knows how to use it. Whereas Shifu preparing Po to be a Dragon Warrior has to be one of the most heartwarming master student moment, here they missed the mark. The movie just started and wanted to reach the end at that very moment without any character development.
Chinese mythology and the zodiacs are such rich in content, but barely explored. As someone wrote, it was pretty dumb downed. And casting so many ppl but giving them just bare minimal talking scope. Wastage of Michelle Yeoh and Sandra Oh, but they were stellar. Henry Golding did come through, he started weak but caught up later on. But most impressing was Bowen as Sid the Rat, too good.
The animation is not the best we have seen for last few years like The Spider Verse or Nimona or Blue Eye Samurai etc but loved the Tiger and using of Eye of the Tiger was interesting. And the human form of the Dragon was pretty amazingly drawn along with the Rat. The movie does have good background music.
I just wish the director explored the zodiacs more, it wasn't a theatre release and heard it got a delayed release, so i don't understand the rush they had to put on the screenplay instead of developing a full fledged mythological story.
Eileen (2023)
Something felt missing
Some movies feel like they didn't have enough runtime to establish and give closure to the story, and some feel like even an hour is way too long for that movie to exist. Unfortunately Eileen falls in the second category for me. Because there was quite the build up towards something twisty which fell flat upon revelation.
All the actors were nice, there's no complain from acting point of view, they followed the script and the director. So the blame goes to them. A psychological thriller with such little nail biting twist and curiosity in the script, shouldn't be called a psychological thriller. And that's why there was this feeling of unfulfillment upon finishing the movie. The whole thing could have been done in 45 minutes and the result would have been same. Flat.
The Holiday (2006)
A Movie To Come Back For The X-Mas Holidays
I have been coming back to this movie every year during Christmas and i have no shame in admitting this is my favorite Christmas movie after Home Alone. There's something so soothing and calming effect this movie has without being overly cheesy or dramatic like most of the holiday rom-coms.
The writing, the direction, the screenplay AND the acting, everything so perfectly in sync. Never felt bored for a minute. And the dialogues are so well written, nothing felt forced, they were just flowing with the pace.
Coming to the cast and their performances, a lot of ppl say Cameron Diaz was just doing what she has been doing in most of her movies, but as i haven't watched much of her movies, i thoroughly enjoyed her here. But what stood out for me is a Jude Law, a Kate Winslet and a Jack Black u don't get to see very often. Most of the time Jude Law/Kate Winslet are seen in serious characters whereas Jack Black in comedy, but here, Jude Law as a rom-com hero was dream come true. And Kate and Jack as two miserable individuals with bad luck in relationships finding each other was a treat to watch, especially Kate.
Like every other romantic movies, this movie is also about finding the right partner and you don't know u might find it in the most unexpected place !!!
Maschile singolare (2021)
You Need To Find Yourself Before You Start Looking For Love
We all need a Denis in our lives to tell us to find ourselves and grow up first before trying to settle for someone wrong, because if we are busy to be someone else, then who would be us !
A beautiful story of life, relationship, heartbreak, friendship. This movie would work as beautifully as a hetero one because of the way it was presented. It was not just about two guys separating after a long term relationship and one of them going through his "sl*t phase" after the divorce. This could have been a relationship between a man and a woman, and the impact would have been same. That's the beauty of this movie.
Every actor played their roles so naturally, it felt so normal, believable, be it Antonio's confusion, agony, sl*t phase, misery, Luca's flirting, jealousy, sadness or Denis with his flamboyant attitude but sensitive at the same time. The pace was perfect, transitions of the scenes were natural. In short, nothing looked forced, everything happening at their own time. It was a refreshing to see something so normal.
Culpa mía (2023)
The Bar Is So LOW for audience these days
The only thing comes to mind after reading all the great reviews is that the bar for a good romantic movie has gone down to pretty low. Amazon really knows how to find such gems from Wattpads, makes them into movies and then those become most streamed, loved and praised.
I kept scratching my head that why is this movie so highly praised??? Why the leads were in love??? Why underage sex is being encouraged??? What was those car races and fist fights??? Most important, where was the building of their relationship??? And why Amazon kept recommending it !!!!!!!!!!
It was insta lust turned into eternal love but i couldn't for the love of god find any reason for the leads to love each other. Though Noah did mention girls getting hooked into bad boys but she didn't showcase any such traits that Nick would change his life for that. At one point Nick, after getting beaten by his rival, told her he is not gonna fight anymore, and in the next scene he is fist fighting !!! And he wanted to elope too !!! I mean, seriously dude, two of u didn't even have a meaningful conversation bout anything beside glass is liquid!!!
Moral of the story, it's getting pretty embarrassing what people are calling amazing movies now.
Purple Hearts (2022)
Romance is dead under the weight of propaganda and feminism
When i came across some articles bout Purple Hearts being the most watched movie of Netflix, i thought lemme give it a try. And after watching it, i am thinking about the mental state of the audiences who gave such high praises for such a terrible movie.
STRONG doesn't mean defying common sense and being brash, STRONG doesn't give u the right to be rude, impolite and constant counter attack without reason, STRONG doesn't suggest u to undermine the person infront of u without knowing their full story. The portrayal of STRONG FEMALE in this movie does nothing but ignite dislike towards her because if STRONG is HER, I don't wanna be HER. The misconception of feminism where u have to show a struggling female who has holier than thou attitude and who has to belittle men in order to prove she is better than them just because she has to earn everything but men have been handed everything, it has gotten old.
I don't know how military works, how healthcare works, how diabetes and its diagnosis works, what i know that's not how romance work, cause i don't see any reason for them to fall in love with each other. Cassie is so annoying as a character that nobody could live happily ever after with her. Luke is also not a walk in the park either. U can't even blame bipolar disorder for Cassie's behavior.
This movie was plotted and penned by the writer, director, producer, Sofia Carson over more than 5 years and it's hard to believe they came up with this. If they wanted to make a biopic on Sofia and her singing career, should have just gone for that. There was no need to create such an unlikable character to thrust down the audience's throat. And Sofia also mentioned she poured her heart and soul to write the music of this movie, but they didn't work for me in the movie, also hard to understand what she sang and I'm supposed to believe she is one of the best singers in the industry, NOT.
Red, White & Royal Blue (2023)
Nicholas Galitzine, take a bow !!!
When Nicholas in his interview said he gave his all to play Henry, he just didn't give a practiced statement, he proved what he can do as an actor given the proper opportunity. His portrayal of Henry, his fear, his vulnerability, his compassion.... Each and every frame so expressive that me as an audience also felt what he was feeling. Matthew really struck gold when he found Nicholas to play Henry because i can't think of a single person who could have done justice to this character like him.
Another gem was Taylor as Alex. Both him and Nicholas were like hand carved to play Alex and Henry. He definitely brought the energy of Alex on screen and played it like a pro. His on screen chemistry with every single person were pretty much to the point, be it a naughty child to his parents or a cheeky friend to Nora, or an annoying charge for Zahra and Amy. Special mention, Rachel as Nora, she is cute as a button and the perfect Nora anyone could ever imagine.
The movie has it's highs and lows. The theatre technique that Matthew applied for the text reading scenes and the phone call scene was the best part of the movie and i could have watched those two like that for more than two hours because how beautifully those scenes were acted out. Again Nicholas stole the show there.
And then Alex coming out to Nora about his sexual confusion, superbly acted out.
All the other characters also shined in their short screen times.
But what didn't work for me was the rush. Of Course it is almost impossible to make a movie out of a novel and not leave something behind. And the gradual building of Alex & Henry's relationship was felt a bit rushed. Another observation was that Taylor somehow held himself back to make his love for Henry believable, yes, him and Nicholas has the best chemistry and the kissing scenes were pretty convincing but what I can feel from Nicholas that his Henry loves Alex, I couldn't get the same vibe from Taylor's Alex. It was like him tending to his favorite houseplant. It was more apparent to me because the way he was making googly eye to Miguel and there was this sexual tension radiating from both, it felt missing form his adoring look towards Henry.
Another annoying thing for me was the obvious fake hair for Nicholas in scenes which were pretty bad. Throughout the movie, his hair kept changing from one scene to another even though the scenes were simultaneous. Maybe they reshot and edit those later but it was very inconsistent and annoying.
Rant aside, it is a cheesy movie with obvious outcome no doubt, but i felt invested because the two leads were too good and when i read the book again, it's gonna be easy for me to picture everything with their faces in mind. Like Matthew said, whatever happens with this movie, those two gonna be fine in their acting careers because of their ability to understand their characters and playing them accordingly.
