Beautiful Wedding (2024)
Better things in life to do - like cleaning a toilet
This film is just awful. I struggle to find the words to say anything. I quite enjoyed Beautiful Disaster and was waiting for this but.....it's just horrible.
Required characters is 600 that is almost as painful trying to find words as watxhing this film was.
I am all for a bit of nonsense, something that doesn't require thought, something to distract me from the mundaneness of life and the awfulness of reality but this is not it.
Do something else. Watch something else. Call someone. But do not switch this film on. It's not even funny bad is it's just utterly, completely and shockingly bad.
The Noel Diary (2022)
Not worth watching.
Drivel. Painful drivel. Horrible. Ghastly. This isn't even escapism. Just yuk.
Go and watch something with more substance. Go for a walk. Meet a friend for a chat. Clean something. Volunteer at a charity. Give your parents or siblings a call. Do anything but watch this film.
There is more to life, go and find it. This film will give you nothing.
Actors did an ok job but other than that dog was best thing in it.
Please believe the low reviews.
Oh no - the shocking English accent at the end another nail in the coffin.
Happy New Year and enjoy watching better films than this.
If you are watching this because of Justin - watch This is Us.
Persuasion (2022)
Sad
I was so excited to see this version. I ignored the reviews, determined to make up my own mind. I wanted to love it. I needed it to be good.
If you can watch this on it's own - no relation to Jane Austin - it's a passable film. If you love the book it's not. Characters are all wrong. Talking to camera is wrong. It's all just wrong. Left me feeling sad that it wasn't as good as it should have been.
I had to watch the 2007 version with Sally Hawkins and Rupert Penry-Jones which is utter perfection to settle myself.
Time Is Up (2021)
Dreadful
Painful. Bad. Awful. Horrendous. No chemistry.
Do not waste a second of your time on the this
Bad acting. Weird soundtrack. Rubbish story.
Kept waiting for it to get better and it didn't.
Use the time you don't watch this film doing something more fulfilling. It's too late for
me, safe yourself.
He's All That (2021)
Bad
Please, please don't waste a second watching this. Bad in every respect (Matthew Lillard was only good thing in this nightmare but sadly only on screen for a few fleeting minutes).
Life is full of wonderful, amazing things to see and do. This is not one of them.
Call Me Kat (2021)
Just no
No, on every level.
Not funny, not charming. No redeeming qualities. Just no.
Stick to the glorious, faultless original that is Miranda.
The Dust Storm (2016)
Watchable
I'll hold my hands up and admit, straight off, that I watched this purely for Colin O'Donoghue.
Nashville provides a wonderful backdrop with all the colours and music. Unfortunately I found that I had little sympathy for either character. I get what happened but both could do with a stern talking to! Him to cut her loose and her to stop messing people around.
Perfectly watchable though and I quite enjoyable the way the film was put together.
If the Shoe Fits (1990)
Oh my
I love Rob Lowe. Don't mind Jennifer Grey. Love the 80's. Love a cheesy romance but I have never seen anything as bad as this. I kept watching hoping, praying it would improve and it didn't. The acting was shocking, the background music to heavy one minute and non-existent the next. The whole concept of Cinderella is that the Prince Charming character is good, kind and lovable. Salvitore is non of those things.
Life is far too short to watch this and there are many great romantic 80's movies that are worthy of your time.
