While Meghan Trainor is very excited about her album “Timeless” which is brand new, she also relives a very scary moment in her life. Recently, Meghan opened up about a nightmare experience she had during her last pregnancy.
Meghan Trainor Wants To Live Forever
Just last week, Grammy winner, Meghan Trainor, dropped a new album, “Timeless” on June 7. Ahead of her big release, she made an appearance on Mythical Kitchen’s “Last Meals.” During the interview, she discusses wanting to be ageless and timeless. Since having children, she wants to biohack herself so she can live forever.

The show host, Josh Scherer, was welcoming but blindsided her at one point when he mentioned her beloved fan, Jalisa. Jalisa faithfully attended her shows and was always in full glam. Undeniably, this was a difficult loss for Meghan. Along with the shock of discussing Jalisa, Meghan also shares...

NBC isn’t cutting “Late Night” off the network’s regular schedule, but it is going to cut the show’s budget.
The 8G Band, a signature element of the Seth Meyers-led program since it launched in 2014, will stop appearing on the after-hours NBC show, commencing in the fall. Eli Janney, the combo’s keyboardist, told Vulture Tuesday that the trio was informed in recent weeks that the band would cease to be a regular part of the program due to budget cuts.
“In the end, NBC was adamant about where they wanted the budget to go,” Janney told the entertainment-news site. “It’s not just the band; there’s a whole crew that works with the band, so there’s a lot of people employed. I think this was an easy way for them to cut the budget. Easy is not the right word.”

Jay Leno’s mom jokingly took her son down a peg when he took over The Tonight Show—and slightly altered the history of the long-running franchise in the process.
In a recent interview on Dystopia Tonight with John Poveromo, Leno revealed that when he replaced Johnny Carson, he initially planned to call the program The Tonight Show Starring Jay Leno. Ultimately, his mom convinced him otherwise.
The use of the word “starring” in the title would have matched the format of the franchise’s previous iterations: Tonight Starring Steve Allen, Tonight Starring Jack Paar, and The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson.
“The Tonight Show, when I started, was The Tonight Show Starring Jay Leno,” the host recalled before launching into a Scottish-accented impression of his mother, Catherine.

One of Jimmy Fallon’s guests on Wednesday June 12th is someone who should be plenty familiar to the host and his audience—Questlove.
The Tonight Show bandleader is set to make the short walk from his drumkit to the guest chair to promote Hip-Hop Is History, which will hit bookstores on Tuesday.
The new book sees Questlove, who grew up as an obsessive fan of the then-emerging genre and ultimately became a six-time Grammy Award–winning musician himself, trace the first half-century of hip-hop as only he can.
In recent years Questlove has emerged as America’s unofficial historian of hip-hop, and of music in general. Hip-Hop Is History is a follow-up to his 2021 bestseller Music Is History, and he famously won an Oscar in 2022 for his documentary film Summer of Soul.

In 1972, Burt Sugarman came to NBC with an idea: What if, instead of going off the air when Johnny Carson’s Tonight Show ended, they aired a late-night music series, aimed at younger viewers? NBC turned him down three times, so he ended up buying time on the network himself to prove there was an audience for late night TV after The Tonight Show.
Needlesstosay, he was right. The show he created, Burt Sugarman’s The Midnight Special, went on to air on NBC Friday nights for nearly a decade, welcoming the top music acts and comedians of the time. And in short order, NBC, seeing that there was indeed an appetite for more late night TV beyond just The Tonight Show, launched a pair of new late-night entries on other nights of the week–Saturday Night Live and The Tomorrow Show (which would ultimately be replaced by Late Night With David Letterman...

If you’ve ever wondered what Jimmy Fallon does during commercial breaks on The Tonight Show, a new ad spot has an inventive take on what that might look like.
A promo for the latest collaboration between lifestyle brand Kith and golf equipment company TaylorMade sees Fallon taking his show—desk included—to Monterey, California’s Pebble Beach Golf Links.
The spot opens with Fallon behind a Tonight Show-esque desk, complete with a backdrop of New York City. After he tosses to break, a crew quickly removes the set, plus Fallon’s suit and tie, to reveal that he’s wearing his golf gear underneath. And that the show’s set is situated in the middle of the famed golf course.
Fallon shoots and scores an impressive hole-in-one, but barely has a moment to celebrate before it’s time to get back to the show. Fallon returns to host form,...

Albert Brooks: Defending My Life pays tribute to a pioneer whose irreverent humor has spanned late night TV, comedy albums, features, animated voice work and a novel. But what makes the film sing is the extended rap session between Brooks and his dear friend Rob Reiner, who directed the HBO documentary. The Hollywood legends met as teenagers at Beverly Hills High School, and Reiner structures the film around a lunch in which they swap anecdotes and punchlines about Brooks’ influential career. It’s an energizing way to frame what might otherwise be just another gushy celebrity profile.
Onscreen, Brooks tells stories about the early days of Saturday Night Live and Johnny Carson’s Tonight Show, his friendships with Carrie Fisher and Stanley Kubrick, the seven movies he’s written and directed and the marriage that made him a new father in his 50s. Many of today’s wry humorists owe a debt to Brooks,...

“America’s Got Talent” fans, get ready for another night of eye-popping acts when the second episode of Season 19 airs June 4, 2024 on NBC. One of the contestants featured this week will be Liv Warfield, a singer-songwriter from Peoria, Illinois. She’ll be backed by her R&b/jazz band on the “AGT” stage, and you can watch an exclusive sneak peek of her performance in the video above. Heads up: this episode is a big game changer with a surprise twist.
One of the judges, Simon Cowell, obviously likes what he hears and starts clapping along to Liv’s routine. He even turns around to the live studio audience and encourages them to applaud as well. The other panelists are Heidi Klum, Sofia Vergara and Howie Mandel, but you’ll have to tune in Tuesday night to hear what they have to say about the powerhouse performance.

For a long time the place for up-and-coming comics to get a real chance at breaking into the public’s consciousness was a five-minute stand-up feature on a late-night show.
An entire generation of the biggest-name comics—Letterman, Leno, Crystal, Seinfeld, Shandling, Pryor, Williams, DeGeneres—recognized that a shot in front of the national audience drawn nightly to Johnny Carson’s Tonight Show was, in success, a golden ticket to a celebrated career.
Is that still true?
The answer is more complicated than it used to be because comics now have the opportunity to build a following solely on social media, doing sets on You Tube or Tik Tok, etc.
And younger comics, much more raised on the attraction of those social media sites, often look to score there rather than on TV, because many contemporary comedy clubs now book more often based on number of followers than a single hot set on late night.

First on LateNighter: Late night had a field day after the Will Smith-Chris Rock incident at the Oscars in 2022, but after a long break, Smith is set to guest next Tuesday on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, reuniting with Questlove in the process.
Smith did appear on The Daily Show with Trevor Noah in 2022, eight months after he slapped Rock onstage at the Academy Awards, in which he sat for an interview with Noah and discussed the slap at length, but he’s otherwise avoided late night.
The actor has a long history with Fallon, whose response to the slap was noticeably more muted than other late-night hosts. Smith guested on the host’s first-ever Tonight Show in 2014 (where he memorably performed with Fallon in “The Evolution of Hip-Hop Dancing”), and returned to the program seven more times through 2021.

Memorial Day has some special significance for late-night television; you might call even it call it Judgement Day.
For some late-night fans, “Mis-Judgement Day” might also qualify.
Jay Leno’s premiere as the new permanent host of NBC’s Tonight Show took place on Memorial Day, 1992.
Going live that night to underscore the significance of the event, Jay walked out from behind a pointlessly animated assemblage of curtains to a sustained ovation. The host accepted the audience’s embrace with obvious appreciation but also a bit of self-deprecation. When he finally calmed the reception down, he delivered his first line:
“Let’s see how you all feel in 30 years!”
It’s actually been 32; but Ok, let’s do it.
What can we tell about Leno and NBC and the sturm und drang of late-night history set off by that long-ago first Tonight Show with Jay Leno?

There is so much going on in the world right now, Jimmy Fallon told his “Tonight Show” audience Friday night, that it was only appropriate for the late night host to put together a “news mash” of four big stories from the week: Trump’s ongoing hush money trial, the Knicks making it to the NBA playoffs, the newest season of “Bridgerton” being released, and Welch’s newest offering, a boozy canned juice that’s definitely not meant for kids.
“First up, the Trump trial has been going on for weeks,” Fallon began. “It all started when he had a one-night stand with Stormy Daniels.”
“Speaking of rich people having one-night stands, ‘Bridgerton’ is back,” he continued. “New episodes just dropped on Netflix. It’s about a bunch of ladies and lords looking to score. You know who else is looking to score? Everyone in the NBA playoffs.”

Jimmy Fallon’s Tonight Show is the latest late-night show to enter the podcast game.
The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon quietly began distributing a version of its show as a podcast earlier this month.
The podcast—which features Fallon’s monologue, sketches and games, and extended versions of his interviews from the previous night’s episode—will be released each morning Tuesday through Saturday.
“I’m excited to announce that I’m officially the last person on earth to start a podcast,” Fallon joked in a trailer for the show.
He’s not that far off. The Tonight Show is one of the last major players to join a growing trend of late-night shows turning to podcasting.
The Late Show with Stephen Colbert launched The Late Show Pod Show, an audio cutdown of its nightly program with exclusive extras, in October 2021.

Three One Chicago stars were featured on the Wednesday night episode of The Tonight Show.
NBC celebrated One Chicago Wednesday with new episodes of the three hit dramas, followed by three stars sitting down with Jimmy Fallon.
After comedian Will Forte served as the primary guest on May 15, Jimmy welcomed three recognizable faces from One Chicago.
Jason Beghe (Hank Voight on Chicago P.D.), Miranda Rae Mayo (Stella Kidd on Chicago Fire), and S. Epatha Merkerson (Sharon Goodwin from Chicago Med) sat down with the Tonight Show host.
The trio brought something fun for the host to enjoy while they filmed a new episode at Rockefeller Center in New York.

Throughout the six-episode run of Netflix’s Everybody’s in L.A., John Mulaney’s comedian guests kept trying to find ways to describe the live talk show’s chaotic-bordering-on-surreal atmosphere. “I feel like this entire show is a Banksy!” a confused Jon Stewart suggested. Nikki Glaser perhaps explained it best, by telling Mulaney, “It’s like an inside joke that only you are in on.”
That line applies just as well to Mulaney’s delightful 2019 Netflix special John Mulaney & the Sack Lunch Bunch. Both then and now, the...

In his monologue heading into Mother’s Day weekend, Jimmy Fallon tried to offer some (comedic) advice for former President Donald Trump.
“This Sunday is Mother’s Day,” Fallon began. “So, for the next 48 hours, if you see an Amazon delivery van, pull over like it’s an ambulance, Ok?”
He continued, noting that people will spend around $250 on Mother’s Day gifts.
“But don’t worry, the best gift is free — which is taking the kids somewhere so mom can have five minutes of peace!” Fallon quipped. “That’s what they want.”
“Also, just a quick word of advice to former President Trump,” Fallon added, addressing the Republican candidate. “Whatever you were thinking of spending on Melania this year, I’d double it.”
Fallon ended his monologue with a song describing the difference between how we address our moms in different countries and regions. The song has some real...

Perhaps one of the most impressive aspects of John Krasinski’s upcoming film, If, is the all-star voice cast he lined up for it.
The multihyphenate stopped by The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Friday to discuss the project, and the late night host couldn’t help but ask about how the writer-director managed to get major stars to sign onto the project.
“I gotta say, the most yeses of my career was on this movie and the fastest yeses because they all love the idea of imagination, going back to your childhood,” Krasinski shared.
When discussing the ice cube, voiced by Bradley Cooper, the Quiet Place star explained, “I don’t know why when I created this guy, in my head, I was like, ‘He’s from Philly, and he’s a little bummed to be living in Arizona.'”

The stunt took weeks of preparation. Building a tank. Training with freedivers and magicians. Developing the filming schedule.
The end result of the effort, a new episode of YouTube star Michelle Khare’s series Challenge Accepted in which she attempted to recreate Harry Houdini’s deadliest trick, has since garnered more than 4.5 million views on YouTube.
The final product has a production quality that would rival what’s on “traditional” TV (in fact, magician David Blaine attempted a similar stunt for a 2006 primetime ABC special), but Khare produced the episode herself, for her YouTube audience.

Tonight Show host Jimmy Fallon tested the limits of NBC’s Password on Tuesday night (April 30) when he gave a clue that some viewers felt should have seen him disqualified. The game show sees two teams, each consisting of one celebrity player and one civilian player, competing to guess the “password” based on clues from their teammates. However, the players are not allowed to use the actual word itself when giving their clues. In Tuesday’s episode, Fallon’s team faced off against Howie Mandel‘s team, and things got a little dicey during the “Passwords You Can Do An Impression Of” round. According to The Sun U.S., the first clue “Yoda” was left unanswered after Mandel’s partner couldn’t figure out his interpretation. However, they nailed the second password, which was “Elmo.” However, the third password, “Godfather,” led to controversy. Fallon gave the first clue of “family,...

Jay Leno and his wife, Mavis Leno, appeared at the Unfrosted premiere in Los Angeles on Tuesday (April 30), their first public appearance since the comedian was granted conservatorship of the couple’s joint estate. As previously reported, Jay filed for a conservatorship in January amid his wife’s battle with advanced dementia. The conservatorship, which allows Jay to oversee Mavis’ estate and finances (not her person), was granted in early April. On Tuesday evening, Mavis joined her husband of 44 years at the red carpet premiere of Jerry Seinfeld‘s new Netflix movie, Unfrosted, which lands on the streamer on Friday, May 3. Speaking to Entertainment Tonight reporter Kevin Frazier, Mavis said, “I feel great.” “ thought I’d come to something fun for a change,” the former Tonight Show host added. “Everything is so controversial. Just to come to a funny, silly movie… it’s great. I think people will have a great time....

It's a drizzly Thursday afternoon in New York City, and Nicki Nicole has spent most of her day answering back-to-back interview questions from journalists. But hours before our conversation, she announced that her first US headlining tour would kick off next month in Mexico City. You can see the tunnel vision in her green eyes. Her fans, who have been by her side since day one, are what motivate her to keep going.

It was thanks in part to Arnold Schwarzenegger that the former publisher of the National Enquirer knew he could get in trouble for the tabloid’s catch-and-kill policy and buying off salacious stories about Donald Trump.
Over objections from Trump’s defense team, ex-American Media CEO David Pecker poignantly Thursday told the judge, jurors, Trump himself and everyone else in a packed Manhattan courtroom he was aware he was violating election law in 2016 when he secretly bought Playboy playmate Karen McDougal’s story of an affair with Trump for $150,000. Admitting the purchase was entirely to kill the story, Pecker said that the primary purpose behind the payoff and others in a similar vein was to help the then-Celebrity Apprentice host’s presidential campaign.
Such tactics were nothing new for Pecker.

February 17, 2024 officially marked Jimmy Fallon’s 10-year anniversary behind The Tonight Show desk. But as far as the comedian is concerned, he’s only just getting started.
On Sunday, Fallon took part in a panel conversation at Deadline’s Contenders Television: Los Angeles, where he touched on the history of The Tonight Show and Johnny Carson’s record as its longest running host, with a little less than 30 years under his belt. So for Fallon, 30 seems to be the magic number.
“I’m gonna go, ‘You guys want me? Let’s break the record,’” the SNL alum said of his plan to be in it for the long haul. “Let’s go, let’s do 30 years!”
While three decades would indeed make Fallon the longest tenured host of The Tonight Show, he’d need to hang in there a little longer to break an even bigger record: longest-serving late night...

Jimmy Fallon, host of NBC’s The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, is about to celebrate his 10th anniversary fronting a franchise that first began with Steve Allen behind the desk in 1954, followed by Jack Paar, Johnny Carson, Jay Leno and Conan O’Brien (and Jay Leno again) — and he’s keen to keep it going.
Speaking about Carson’s record as the longest-running (and most-identifiable) host of this seminal late-night show, Fallon said during a panel at Deadline’s Contenders Television event, “I’m gonna go, you guys want me? Let’s break the record, let’s go, let’s do 30 years!”

Ryan Gosling claims he was hesitant to take on the task of singing as his “Ken” character at the Oscars, initially giving show producers a “100% no” when asked.
“There’s a lot of ways that could go wrong,” Gosling told Jimmy Fallon during Thursday’s Tonight Show.
The risk of bad reviews had Gosling initially concerned. Fortunately for him, that didn’t happen.
“Imagine the reviews I would have had if I’d have The Roots,” Gosling joked, referring to Fallon’s in-house band.
Still, there were critics. His daughter’s reaction was, “Dad’s Kenning again,” he said.
“I mean, it was their interest in Barbie and their disinterest in Ken that sort of started all of this.” Gosling previously mentioned that his daughters haven’t even watched the film and likely won’t.

Jay Leno has been officially granted conservatorship of his wife, Mavis Leno, who has been grappling with a degenerative brain disease.

Leno, renowned for his tenure as the host of the Tonight Show, has been married to Mavis for over four decades. With Mavis’s health deteriorating due to Alzheimer’s, the most prevalent type of dementia, Jay initiated the conservatorship process in January.
The original petition outlined that Mavis has been experiencing a gradual decline in cognitive abilities and her sense of place and time over several years. Each episode of the series sees host Sean Evans interview a celebrity guest while they attempt to eat chicken wings basted in increasingly intense hot sauces.
O’Brien isn’t the first late-night host to tackle the spicy wing challenge. John Oliver appeared on Hot Ones earlier this season,...

Tuesday night saw something that, fourteen years ago, might have seemed impossible: Conan O’Brien returned to “The Tonight Show.” And he was greeted with a standing ovation.
He was there, ostensibly, to promote a forthcoming Max series in which he travels the world meeting fans. But he’d come a long way just to get to 30 Rockefeller Center in 2024, and the interview with current “Tonight Show” host Jimmy Fallon functioned as a peace offering, or a marker of how much time has passed.
O’Brien, after all, exited the program under a cloud in 2010, after a much-followed period of corporate intrigue. Inheriting the show from Jay Leno, O’Brien was set up to fail when NBC programmed a prime-time Leno series, which bombed, as his lead-in five nights a week; O’Brien departed the show after only seven months, at which point Leno replaced him. O’Brien comported himself throughout with a certain pained dignity,...

Conan O’Brien returned to The Tonight Show last night, reflecting with host Jimmy Fallon about his time on NBC’s late-night shows. The comedian hosted Late Night for 16 seasons from 1993 to 2009, before briefly helming The Tonight Show from 2009 to 2010, when he was fired.
“It’s weird to come back,” O’Brien said. “I haven’t been in this building for such a long time, and I haven’t been on this floor in forever. I was here for 16 years doing the Late Night show before we went out to LA.

If you love late-night TV and you miss Conan O’Brien (as you should), you have to scarf up every opportunity that comes along; so last night’s guest shot with Jimmy Fallon was–to underscore the NBC-themed nostalgia of it all–Must See TV.
The studio audience certainly knew it. They knew this was Conan returning to NBC, and returning to The Tonight Show for the first time since he departed the show in 2010 on terms so bad that he used his last week on the air trying to (symbolically) drain NBC’s budget by doing things like (fictionally) having a rare fossil skeleton of a ground sloth spray Beluga caviar on an original Picasso.
The sustained standing ovation proved the audience was into the momentousness of the occasion. So was Fallon, who called Conan “larger than life.”
And so was Conan, who replied with mock arrogance: “The word’s iconic.

Conan O’Brien made his Tonight Show return on Tuesday, and he and host Jimmy Fallon reminisced about O’Brien’s time with NBC’s late-night shows.
The comedian hosted Late Night for 16 seasons, from 1993 to 2009 before his short tenure with The Tonight Show from 2009 to 2010.
“It’s weird to come back,” O’Brien told Fallon during his latest appearance. “I haven’t been in this building for such a long time, and I haven’t been on this floor in forever.”
He added, “I was here for 16 years doing the Late Night show before we went out to L.A. and right across the hall — all these memories came flooding back to me.” O’Brien later joked that it was strange seeing other sets built in what used to be his show’s studio.
Earlier during their conversation, Fallon also noted that O’Brien was his first-ever talk show appearance.

As Conan O’Brien Returns To ‘The Tonight Show’, He Reminisces About ‘Late Night’ Rather Than 11:30pm
Conan O’Brien returned to The Tonight Show for the first time as a guest since he left the NBC show.
However, the comedian largely dodged talking about his stint on the 11:30pm show. O’Brien hosted the between June 2009 and January 2010 but was replaced by Jay Leno’s return to the show.
He briefly mentioned it at the top of his appearance following a standing ovation from the audience. “I know you meant well, but I had The Tonight Show for ten minutes and you ate into my time,” he joked.
O’Brien wasn’t pressed by host Jimmy Fallon about his time on The Tonight Show.
He did, however, reminisce about his time hosting at 12:30am. O’Brien hosted Late Night between 1993 and 2009.

Sitting down with Jimmy Fallon Tuesday night in his first visit back to the Tonight Show since he stepped down as host in 2010, Conan O’Brien told a story about the time a fire at 30 Rock forced his show out of its studio on the sixth floor, so they taped show from the Rockefeller Center ice skating rink instead.
“The guest was Samuel L. Jackson,” O’Brien recalled to Fallon. “Andy Richter, my sidekick, and I ran into a Sharper Image and bought one of those massage chairs, and put it out next to the rink. And Samuel L. Jackson is like sitting there–the coolest guy in the world–but no one can make one of those chairs cool.”

Jimmy Fallon rang in the solar eclipse as only he can on Monday night’s Tonight Show.
Fallon opened his show with a message to viewers: “We have a special show tonight: Heart is our musical guest, and obviously today is the solar eclipse. So we thought we have to do what we have to do. We have to sing ‘Total Eclipse of the Heart’ with Heart, while watching the solar eclipse.”
Donning solar glasses and an eighties era hairstyle and suit, the Tonight Show host then took to the roof of 30 Rock where he joined the Rock and Roll Hall of Famers in a rocking edition of Bonnie Tyler’s 1983 hit. Naturally it ended with a callback to the song’s ridiculous music video.
Monday night wasn’t Heart’s first appearance with Fallon. In 2010 they appeared on an episode of Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.
