I saw this film over the past weekend, at our local film festival. Not knowing the author the film is based upon, and not knowing what to expect, I was very pleased at the meticulous detail that went into this vignette.
After the film was over, we also had the pleasure of talking with the lead actor, the person who composed an original score for it, the person who did the editing, as well as one other person whose role in the production I'm not sure about.
We learned that the men in uniform are actual Civil War reenactors who sewed all of their own costumes and were hand-picked for the movie.
The mansion and the grounds are magnificent.
The story line is compelling.
The lead actor is excellent! I hope someone discovers him! Keep your eye out for it on the schedule of your local film festival.
