Check back for latest … The fall TV season was upended by the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes, but the beat goes on, though heavy with reality and other unscripted fare like game shows. As Hollywood begins to recover from the dual labor actions, here again is Deadline’s annual list of premiere dates for new and returning TV series.
The roster covers hundreds broadcast, cable and streaming programs debuting through 2023. It includes series and season debuts, shows returning from hiatus and some one-offs such as live sports and awards specials but not movies. The list includes shows that had been set for the fall season but are in limbo for now. Note that older 2023 premiere dates are listed at the bottom.

Horror-comedy film The Menu may be a little brutal to watch for some, but for those who work in the industry like recent Hell’s Kitchen winner Alex Belew, the film had plenty of moments that had him laughing, not to mention nodding in agreement.
Films like The Menu and the FX series The Bear both center on restaurants and the head chef, but each takes an entirely different turn. While The Bear and The Menu reflect on the grueling and intense aspects of cheffing, The Menu is a film about how famed Chef Slowik (Ralph Fiennes) murders his patrons.
Murder aside, Belew said even the absurdity of The Menu had some pretty realistic moments that had him rolling, while the theater was hauntingly quiet. “With The Menu, outside of the absurdity of it, I found myself laughing so much throughout that because every chef has thought about that with customers,...

Fox‘s Hell’s Kitchen: Battle of the Ages winner Alex Belew may have been favored to win by the fanbase, but Belew had his doubts during the grueling competition.
“The first couple of weeks I really was just trying to survive day to day,” Belew told Showbiz Cheat Sheet. “The first plan was just don’t go home first because that would suck.” But then he felt a shift as he dominated challenge after challenge, taking on the wing competition and making the perfect lobster.
“Watching it kind of unfold on T.V., I’m like, Who is that guy?” he wondered, describing how watching himself on TV didn’t match what he was feeling during the Hell’s Kitchen experience.

At the end of episode 14 of “Hell’s Kitchen: Battle of the Ages” on February 2, Gordon Ramsay eliminated Sommer Sellers. The final four were challenged to create a stunning seafood dish to be featured in Entertainment Weekly, which Dafne Mejia won. At dinner service, each chef took turns running the pass while Gordon tested their attention to detail with sabotages. After sending the 24-year home, Gordon said, “There’s no doubt in my mind that Sommer is going to do great things in this industry. She’s definitely VIP in my book.”
We asked in a recent poll if Gordon made the right decision. Fans disagreed with his dismissal of the 24-year old line cook from Brooklyn, New York, with 55 saying Dafne deserved to go home instead. Sommer came in second with 38 of the vote.

At the end of episode 13 of “Hell’s Kitchen: Battle of the Ages” on January 26, the oven mitts came off when Cheyenne Nichols and Dafne Mejia were nominated for elimination. A new French late show, fronted by popular actor, director and writer Alain Chabat launched on France’s TF1 amid much fanfare this week in the country’s latest attempt to crack the late-night talk show format.
Running Monday to Friday from 10.55 pm, Le Late Avec Alain Chabat kicked off on Monday (November 21), with the host joking in his opening spiel: “I nearly did this show in 2018, but it was during the World Cup in Russia, so it was a bit touchy. But now, it’s in Qatar, so tout va bien.”

Heading into Monday’s episode of “Hell’s Kitchen” Season 20, only seven chef-testants remained in the running to win the show. They were: Antonio Ruiz, Brynn Gibson and Kiya Willhelm of the Red Team and Emily Hersh, Megan Gill, Steve Glenn and Trenton Garvey of the Blue Team. This week the players had to prove they were worthy of receiving a coveted black jacket. A lot is at stake this year for the ultimate “HK20” winner, as they’ll claim a head chef position at Gordon Ramsay‘s steakhouse at the Paris Hotel in Las Vegas.

“Hell’s Kitchen: Young Guns” chef-testants Samuel Garman and Antonio Ruiz had an agreement going into their final judgment before Gordon Ramsay: neither would say a bad word about the other, and they’d let their track records be the sole determining factor of who went home. Sounds good on paper, right? When Gordon asked Sam who was the weakest link on the Red Team, Sam honored his buddy by refusing to answer. But that only angered the renowned British chef more and more. He then turned to Antonio and asked the same question, and Antonio fired back a one-word death shot: “Sam.”
Chef Ramsay immediately took Sam’s jacket, making this 23-year-old executive chef from Fleetwood, Pennsylvania the 11th person eliminated from Season 20.

And then there were eight. On Monday night, the remaining “Hell’s Kitchen” chef-testants played a dating game on the fictional “hkchefsonly.com” app in the hopes of swiping right on the perfect set of ingredients for their entrees. Later during a steak-themed dinner service, one team struggled with overcooking its dish. A lot is at stake this year for the ultimate winner, as they’ll claim a head chef position at Gordon Ramsay‘s steakhouse at the Paris Hotel in Las Vegas.

One of the early front-runners to win “Hell’s Kitchen: Young Guns,” 22-year-old Josie Clemens, was just eliminated from the competition. Host Gordon Ramsay took her jacket in the August 16 episode after being nominated by the Red Team’s temporary leader, Kiya Willhelm. Kiya was adamant that the private chef from Macomb, Michigan was the worst chef on her team, so she didn’t bother discussing it with her other cohorts. Do you think Josie was robbed of a shot of making it to the Top 8 of Season 20? Vote in our poll below.
Gordon’s decision came down to Josie vs. Steven Glenn, who was nominated by the Blue Team’s superstar Megan Gill for being too quiet and distant in the kitchen. However, it wasn’t necessarily a hard choice as Steven has been a favorite of Gordon’s since early in the competition. The host even gave the Young...

Things got sticky during Monday’s episode of “Hell’s Kitchen,” as the final nine chef-testants competed in everyone’s favorite challenge, the Blind Taste Test. If a person got their ingredients wrong, their teammate would be covered in messy substances like caramel, nacho cheese and popcorn. Later, one team came unhinged during dinner service. A lot is at stake this year for the ultimate winner, as they’ll claim a head chef position at Gordon Ramsay‘s steakhouse at the Paris Hotel in Las Vegas.

The third time on the elimination block was unfortunately not the charm for Victoria Sonora during the August 9 episode of “Hell’s Kitchen: Young Guns.” This junior sous-chef from Longmont, Colorado (and lover of all things root vegetables) simply wasn’t “ready” to be Gordon Ramsay‘s newest protege, something she now admits she was aware of at the time of filming. “I knew it and he knew it — I wasn’t ready then, but Damn that was incredible,” Victoria tweeted after her elimination. “Low key just happy to have made it past day one.”

After nearly two decades on the air, “Hell’s Kitchen” twisted things up for Season 20 by introducing a competition full of “Young Guns” — that is, people 24 years old or younger. This cycle filmed in Las Vegas in 2019, prior to the start of the Covid-19 pandemic. Chef Gordon Ramsay once again returned as host of the Fox reality TV show, with his trusty sous chefs being Christina Wilson and Jason “Jay” Santos. If you’re looking for “HK20” spoilers on everything that’s happened so far, you’ve come to the right place. Tour our photos below to see the updated “Hell’s Kitchen: Young Guns” eliminations in order.

“Hell’s Kitchen” returned on Monday night after an Olympics-sized two-week break. The last time we left our aspiring chef-testants, Chef Gordon Ramsay tasked the five lowest vote-getters with a “Cook For Your Life” challenge, resulting in the tearful elimination of Keanu Hogan. That left only 10 contestants still in the competition, with both teams making huge mistakes during tonight’s special charity dinner service. A lot is at stake this year for the ultimate winner, as they’ll claim a head chef position at Gordon’s steakhouse at the Paris Hotel in Las Vegas.

The first “Cook For Your Life” challenge on “Hell’s Kitchen: Young Guns” proved to be the end of the road for Keanu Hogan during the July 19 episode. Sadly, this 23-year-old private chef from Baltimore, Maryland never recovered after charring her bone-in pork chop. The others who competed in the 45-minute challenge, based on private rankings from all of the contestants, were Josie Clemens, Victoria Sonora, Emily Hersh and Sam Garman.
One by one, renowned chef Gordon Ramsay told Sam, Josie and Emily to head back to the dorms because they did indeed cook for their lives. That left Keanu and Victoria both on the chopping block — Keanu because she burned her protein and Victoria for her lazy plating. In the end, Gordon asked Keanu for her jacket, sparing Victoria from elimination.

The eighth episode of “Hell’s Kitchen” featured an exciting tag team relay race in which the remaining 11 chef-testants had to cook dishes faster and better than the opposing team. Later in the episode, five contestants experienced the season’s first “Cook For Your Life” challenge, with one unlucky person having to turn in their jacket. A lot is at stake this year for the ultimate winner, as they’ll claim a head chef position at Gordon Ramsay‘s steakhouse at the Paris Hotel in Las Vegas.
