With over twenty years of experience working in Business Management, Art & Design, Executive Production, and all stages of Production with four departments. Buck Jolicoeur is an active and full member in three departments. He leverages a wealth of experience to prove himself a reliable and very capable Director for Film & Television.
He is actively working towards his dream of being a successful working Director. He is writing, directing, and developing professional quality projects, and networking with good people who embrace a warm and professional attitude to develop these projects.
Buck Jolicoeur was born to creative parents. His mother was a singer, artist, and graphic designer, in the avant-garde art scene in Argentina. His French-Canadian father studied theater with the likes of Marcel Marceau before becoming a swami with the Hari Krishnas. After hanging out with the Beatles, and helping John Lennon with the the "Imagine" video, he left the Krishna's to raise a family.
Buck Jolicoeur took an interest in the arts at a young age. By high school he demonstrated an accelerated and high degree of skill in writing, art, and performance art. Exploring this further, he developed immersive arts events, explored fire as art, and had a significant impact on founding the fire-art culture that spread down the West Coast throughout the 90's.
After a transition to Graphic Design, and Executive Production, he decided to work in Production to gain better insight into the film making process. After seven years working in every stage of production, gaining full membership in Grips, Set Dec, and Props; Buck Jolicoeur is launching his career as a Writer/Director, tapping into his entertainment and story telling experience to deliver strong work as a Director.
