Kim Kardashian revealed that she was blown away by the accuracy of the portrayal of her father, Robert Kardashian, in Ryan Murphy’s The People v. O. J. Simpson: American Crime Story.
“I loved it,” Kardashian said of the celebrated mini-series in a new conversation with Chloë Sevigny for Variety. “Some people were over and they hadn’t seen it — I watched it years and years ago — and I wanted to see if my recollection was right on the portrayal of my dad. I thought it was just done so well.

Kim Kardashian and Chloë Sevigny share a love of high fashion, classic Hollywood glam — and Ryan Murphy, one of television’s most prolific creators, who also happens to be their mutual boss. Kardashian has appeared on television as herself since 2007; she currently can be seen on Season 5 of “The Kardashians” on Hulu. Now the reality star and influencer is transforming into an actor and producer of scripted projects. Kardashian’s first series regular role was on the recent season of FX’s “American Horror Story: Delicate,” in which she played Siobhan, a personal publicist with a double identity as a witch who draws power from Satan. It’s quite a debut!
In Murphy’s anthology series “Feud: Capote vs. the Swans,” Sevigny, herself a style icon for decades, plays C.Z. Guest, the elegant New York socialite. Guest — with her understated, patrician glamour and biting wit — was one of Truman Capote...

Lupita Nyong’o is embarking on a global press tour as the star of Paramount’s horror prequel “A Quiet Place: Day One,” but she could probably do without the press junkets. During an interview with Glamour magazine, the Oscar winner was asked about what irritates her most about being an actor.
“Interviews,” she answered. “You asked. I have to be honest. I’m going to tell you.”
Nyong’o clarified by saying that she does not necessarily mean all interviews are torture, but she does find press junkets to be a “torture technique” as “different people are being ferried in” to ask the same questions. She added: “You have to give each one of them attention, focus and an articulate answer that you just gave to the person before. That’s irritating.”

Poor William Bonney is facing an uphill battle in the Lincoln County War.
That continued to be made abundantly clear on Billy the Kid Season 2 Episode 5.
It's Billy and a handful of good-hearted ranchers and farmers who are up against the greedy and corrupt in Lincoln and New Mexico in general.
It doesn't seem fair, does it?
Billy's supporters can't catch a break.
For example, take the Regulators' encounter with "Buckshot" Roberts.
Granted, Buckspot is a sharpshooter, but he's not the sharpest tool in the shed, as he proved in his demise.
Horizon: An American Saga: Release Date, Cast, Trailer and Everything We Know About Kevin Costner's Western Epic
Yet somehow, he doggedly, if drunkenly, tracked Billy through the wilderness and rode right into the Regulators' camp, with no one stopping this apparent threat.
There was Buckshot against eight to ten Regulators, and still, he shot four of them...

In Billy the Kid season 2, part 1, we saw that Pat Garrett was made the sheriff of Lincoln City after Bradley was killed in broad daylight by Billy. Billy and Jesse also came face-to-face, but they abstained from fighting with each other. Jesse, no matter what he said, had a lot of affection for Billy. He saw him as a friend, and even Billy valued their friendship. People knew about the equation they shared and that’s why, a lot of times, their allegiance was questioned. Billy, after the death of Tunstall, made it his life’s mission to take revenge on Murphy and Riley, and he very truthfully went to Dulcinea del Tobosco and told her about it. She loved Billy, and that’s why she asked him not to go back to the life he had left. She didn’t want him to become an outlaw, but Billy didn’t have an option.

Charlie Brooker anticipates a lot of things. As the creator and writer of Black Mirror, his Emmy-winning sci-fi Netflix series has predicted everything from new Apple technology to the election of a certain U.S. president.
With the season six episode “Joan Is Awful,” Brooker knew the AI-centered story would be timely. But even his dystopian crystal ball couldn’t have foreseen that the Ally Pankiw-directed installment starring Annie Murphy and Salma Hayek would become a flashpoint in Hollywood’s AI battle.
“A couple of times on the show, there’s been something I’ve written and then something similar happens in the real world similar-ish,” says Brooker. “Narcissistically, you start to feel like, ‘This is too big a coincidence. I feel like I’m living in a simulation.’”

What do you think about when we say the word “Peaky Blinders”. A shot of Cillian Murphy smoking his cigarette and pouring whiskey into a glass on the table. Well, the vibe is very similar to that of James Bond, if Bond was in the year 1919.
Paul Anderson and Cillian Murphy as the Shelby brothers in Peaky Blinders | BBC Two
This is exactly what people want to see when a new James Bond film is announced. Not the year 1919, but fans are seemingly going crazy about a rumor that Cillian Murphy is the next choice for James Bond in the upcoming film. Although there might be truth to that rumor (or not), an actor who previously portrayed the role of James Bond added fuel to the fire by supporting the it.

Ryan Murphy, the American Horror Story creator, pitched the idea for Kim Kardashian’s own series while having dinner with her and her mother, Kris Jenner.
Kardashian appears on the 12th season of American Horror Story, called AHS: Delicate, in a role specifically written for her, opposite franchise favorite Emma Roberts.
On the heels of her breakthrough performance, Kardashian is getting her own scripted series, as Deadline reported. She is staying in business with AHS co-creator/executive producer Murphy for the project, described as a high-end, glossy and sexy adult procedural. It has landed at Hulu, home of hit reality series The Kardashians, with a big series commitment.
This marks the first series for Murphy under his new deal at Disney, with 20th Television, part of Disney TV Studios, producing.

Chris Hemsworth is in talks to join another blockbuster franchise.
After playing Marvel’s Thor and the deranged villain Dementus in George Miller’s “Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga,” Hemsworth is in talks to star in the upcoming crossover between the “Transformers” and “G.I. Joe” franchises from Paramount.
The “Transformers” and “G.I. Joe” crossover was first teased back in last year’s entry, “Transformers: Rise of the Beasts,” and officially confirmed at this year’s CinemaCon by Paramount. In the end of “Rise of the Beasts,” Anthony Ramos’ character Noah meets a shady government operative named Agent Burke, played “House of Cards” star Michael Kelly. He hands Noah a business card, after saving the world with the Autobots, and it’s revealed Burke works for the G.I. Joes, a special team of commandos. In A Quiet Place Part One, we witnessed the aftermath of the alien invasion, with some flashbacks interspersed with the “Death Angels” arrival on the meteorites, emergence and the subsequent non-stop attacks on anything that made even the slightest noise. We came to love the Abbott family and mourned when husband and father Lee Abbott was killed when saving his children from the claws of the monsters.
In A Quiet Place Part II, audiences saw The Abbott family and their little town decimated. As the Abbotts, Evelyn and her children, hunt for any viable refuge from the sounds that draw the omnipresent creatures, they stumble upon an old acquaintance turned into a determined loner whose past makes it difficult for them to trust his true intentions. Recently, Giancarlo Esposito made headlines by saying he wants to play Professor X in the MCU, but without the wheelchair since he isn’t that old. Fans are divided because some still hope Patrick Stewart will be the main Charles Xavier in the MCU, despite his character’s death in ‘Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.’
During a panel at Ccxp’s Thunder Stage, Esposito confirmed he will appear in a Marvel project, but clarified it won’t be as Professor X.
A few days ago at the Phoenix Fusion Event, Esposito revealed that his MCU role will eventually lead to a Disney+ series.
The MCU has knocked on my door and it’s a role you won’t predict. It will be teased and there will be a series afterwards.
According to Murphy’s Multiverse, Esposito will debut in ‘Captain America: Brave New World,’ playing a villainous role added by Matthew Orton.

We're back with another MCU rumour roundup and, should these prove correct, the franchise's uncertain future may have come into focus.
Earlier this month, we shared the news that Hawkeye season 2 may be moving forward, with a story inspired by The Raid. In that, Clint Barton and Kate Bishop will reportedly square off with the Avenger's villainous brother, Barney (a.k.a. Trickshot).
Now, Murphy's Multiverse's has chimed in to reveal that "a second season of Hawkeye does indeed seem to be in development and could end up on Disney Plus much sooner than expected."
With the action set in one location, it's possible Marvel Studios can shoot this pretty quickly, with the show presumably eyeing a 2026 release if this report is anything to go by.
Elsewhere in the site's own rumour roundup, they reiterate plans for Robert Downey Jr. to return as Iron Man in the Multiverse Saga.

At long last, Eddie Murphy is reprising his role as street-smart cop Axel Foley in the fourth instalment of the Beverly Hills Cop franchise, which is set to hit Netflix this summer. But, it isn’t easy being a middle aged action star. It’s been nearly thirty years since we last saw Eddie Murphy as Axel Foley, and in a recent interview with People Magazine he admitted that the shoot was a “rough one”.“I did Axel Foley when I was in my 20s. I am not in my 20s anymore,” he said. At any rate, Murphy won’t be the only aged actor from the original to show up, with many of the classic Beverly Hills Cop cast members are set to join him in Beverly Hills Cop: Axel Foley. Here’s everything we know about Beverly Hills Cop 4!

Two of the credited screenwriters on Leonard Nimoy's "Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home" were Steve Meerson and Peter Krikes, the screenwriters behind the Frankie Avalon/Annette Funicello flick "Back to the Beach," the two-Van-Dammes-for-the-price-of-one movie "Double Impact," and the 1999 would-be Oscar darling "Anna and the King." "Star Trek IV" was one of their first major screenwriting gigs, and it was a dizzying experience. The screenwriters remembered meeting with Nimoy and with producer Harve Bennett for a brainstorming session, and it seems that no one could come to any kind of solid conclusions. Bennett mentioned that he wanted the next movie to be a throwback to "The City on the Edge of Forever," one of the most celebrated episodes of the series. Nimoy was in a weird headspace, talking about environmentalism and biodiversity. Meerson recalls: "Leonard started talking about plankton, cells, that cells become plankton, that things eat plankton...

Christopher Nolan’s thriller/historical drama from 2023, Oppenheimer, is a based-on-real-events story, and be it Cillian Murphy’s J. Robert Oppenheimer in the lead role or Gary Oldman’s President Harry Truman in a supporting one — everyone made sure to make it seem as realistic as possible.
But what if some of the scenes from the film never really happened in the first place?
Oppenheimer. | Credit: Universal Pictures.
As it turns out, it seems like one of the most iconic scenes in the entire movie as Truman just may have stemmed from a figment of Nolan’s imagination. Or, to be more precise, it may have never happened in the first place the way it was depicted, and the filmmaker just may have improvised it.
Why? Well, simply put: Because historical accounts recall it somewhat differently.

Forget the "Walking Dead" comics or the first "Resident Evil" film; it was "28 Days Later" that made zombies cool again in the 21st century. Easily the best zombie movie that technically isn't a zombie movie, director Danny Boyle's sci-fi horror thriller takes place in a nightmare world where society has collapsed following the outbreak of a lab-born, zombie-esque infection dubbed the "rage virus." Many of the film's leads would go on to become far bigger names after its release, including a baby-faced Cillian Murphy as the poor Joe Schmo (or whatever the British equivalent is of that) who awakens from a coma to find London abandoned and overrun with red-eyed, rampaging infected individuals.

After a stellar 1989, the Hollywood box office of 1990 was expected to be even better – but the film industry got taught some tough lessons.
Browsing the worldwide box office charts for 1989, and many a major studio executive would have been stroking their chin with some degree of comfort. The same old was working. The new things were working. Everything was getting better. The Christmas party was clearly going to be on the impressive side.
What 1989 had proven, after all, was the growing feeling that big stuff worked too. Tim Burton’s Batman had firmly introduced the idea of the huge opening weekend at the box office, and that a movie could become a cultural phenomenon. That patrons would leave the cinema and promptly seek out the soundtrack, the computer game, the book, the T-shirt, the novelty undercrackers.

Tomorrow, Fantasmic! will once again take place at Disneyland. The show closed last year after the 45-foot Maleficent Dragon (aka Murphy) caught on fire and was destroyed.
I have to give the cast member playing Mickey Mouse props, though; he nailed his performance when he saw it in flames. Thankfully, no one (except Murphy) was harmed.
The show will be returning on May 24th with Maleficent, but not as a dragon. Peter Pan’s scenes with Wendy and Captain Hook also return to the show.
Show times will be 9 Pm and 10:30 Pm.
According to the LA Times, Maleficent will now battle Mickey Mouse in the finale in her human form, not as a dragon. She will only ascend to about 35 feet instead of the dragon’s 45 feet.

The Beverly Hills Cop movie series started in 1984 and it was one of the works that made Eddie Murphy a household star in the 80s and 90s. The first two movies were highly successful, but the third movie was a box office bomb and was panned by critics; today, it is considered to be the weakest movie in the series. Now, in 2024, amidst the revival/reboot craze, Axel Foley is back once again as Murphy tries to revive his career after a series of failures and controversies. The upcoming Netflix film, which teased a first look earlier this year, marks Murphy’s long-rumored reprisal the iconic character Detective Axel Foley. The ’80s-era franchise first began with Foley as a Detroit detective turned temporary L.A. police officer for an uncover mission. Now, after having worked in L.A. sporadically for decades, Foley teams up with his estranged daughter Jane (Taylour Paige) to take down yet another conspiracy.
Along the way, Foley lands a new partner (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) and police captain (Kevin Bacon), but his old confidantes, including Billy Rosewood (Judge Reinhold) and John Taggart (John Ashton), are still in the mix. Also returning? Franchise co-stars Paul Reiser and Bronson Pinchot.

"The Godfather Part III," "Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines," "Jaws 3-D," "Superman III" ... there are tons of examples of film trilogies that feature a dramatic drop in quality in their third entries. Thanks to scripting issues and scheduling problems, the film also broke up the beloved trio of Murphy, John Ashton, and Judge Reinhold, the latter of whom play Taggart and Rosewood, the Beverly Hills police officers who go from being Axel's pesky babysitters in the first movie to lifelong pals and de facto partners in the second. Ashton dodged a bullet by not appearing in the third film at all, and that movie's lousy script didn't do...

We got a little tease of the film back in December, but the new trailer reveals a whole lot more.
