Demon Slayer has been experimenting with anime original scenes for the majority of its fourth season. With Muichiro Tokito and Tengen Uzui’s episodes individually elaborating on their stories, episode 5, I Even Ate Demons, picks up the pace of the series, considering that the 4th season has already entered its second half.

Instead of expanding on a page and a half into an entire episode, the series now takes up three different Hashira’s in only one part. The point is to not make it seem stretched while also progressing the story at a balanced pace. However, there were areas in which this episode lacked. While comedy is always appreciated, proving to be both a pallet cleanser for the seriousness and an equalizer to all the harshness; sometimes it can prove to be overbearing.

When it comes to inspiration, actions speak louder than words—a resolution that forms the crux of the third episode of the ongoing season of Demon Slayer, as Tanjiro, as an adept slayer, is given the heavy duty of taking on the responsibility of helping the novice trainees of the Demon Slayer corps. The Hashira training arc isn’t merely limited to the Hashira and our main team of Slayers getting empowered; it also focuses on strengthening the entire organization to stand against Muzan’s Demon Horde.
Previously, Lady Tamayo had accepted Kagaya’s invitation to join the Demon Slayers and assist Shinobu Kocho in formulating a plan to take down Muzan. However, Shinobu isn’t too keen on the prospect of joining hands with a demon, and she prepares to train her apprentice, Kamao, for the upcoming battle against demons. The preparation to defeat the king of the demons, Kibutsuji Muzan, has officially begun, as Demon Slayer returns with its fourth season after a year-long break. As seen in the final moments of the third season Swordsmith Village arc, Tanjiro, Nezuko, Genya, and Tokito were able to free the village from the terror of the fourth demon moon, Hantengu, and all his clones. However, during the conflict, Nezuko was exposed to sunlight, and while Tanjiro feared for his sister’s fate (due to her demonic affliction) Nezuko remained unaffected, becoming the only known demon to survive and stay immune from sunlight. This inadvertently attracts the attention of Muzan, who wants to gain Nezuko’s ability by any means, as it would make him truly invincible and immortal. In order to prevent that from happening, the novice demon slayers need to be trained by the Hashiras. Additionally, Lady Tamayo finds success...

While One Piece is not a series that gets into that much controversy, it was recently pulled into one when they revealed the real age of one of the characters from the series: Jewelry Bonney. The controversy involved the age of the character and how she was shown in the original story were completely different.
Jewelry Bonney in One Piece
In the anime and the manga she was shown as an adult woman but her age was later revealed to be 12 years old which she was hiding with the powers of her devil fruit. As there were some debatable scenes in the series, the real age of the characters made them more and more controversial.
However, One Piece is not alone in this move of hiding a character’s age and depicting them as much older than they already are. Another anime that shares a similar connection with One Piece...

The Demon Slayer franchise continues to do everything that needs to be done to take it to the top of the shonen category, with the series definitely holding one among the highest places of the category currently. And although the animation and the artform in general is probably the main reason, it would be also interesting to see how the third season fares in terms of context.

Right after the premiere of the Season 3 finale, the announcement of Season 4 being in the works for Demon Slayer fans comes as a treat. This Demon Slayer review contains spoilers.
Demon Slayer Season 3 Episode 7
“You don’t need a reason to help people.”
At first glance, the title of the latest Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba episode, “Awful Villain,” has a very straightforward meaning. Hantengu and Gyokko represent some of the deadliest demons that Tanjiro has ever faced, but “Awful Villain” asks the audience to consider if it’s perhaps Tanjiro and Nezuko who are the real enemies in this story. “Awful Villain” is a Demon Slayer entry that’s still dense in combat and twists. However, the episode’s primary goal is to argue that the recent massacres of these Upper Rank demons are actually justified and are for the greater good, while the “heroes” represent the real problem.
This is a powerful idea to entertain, but it’s unfortunately not fresh territory for the shonen series. Demon Slayer has successfully made its audience empathize with past villains,...
