Tom Hardy is most popularly known for committing to intense characters that are morally complex. The actor goes method in everything he does and dives deep into the skin of the character to embody them. Films like Bronson, Warrior, Locke, The Revenant, and The Dark Knight Rises display his brilliant transformative performances.

One of the most versatile stars in Hollywood, Andrew Garfield, has left an indelible mark on the screens thanks to his on-screen charisma and ever-confident persona. Starting off as a stage actor, he has gone on to becoming a two-time Oscar nominee along with making himself a household name following his role in The Amazing Spider-Man movies.
Regardless of such highs, the actor still remains vocal about being as fallible as a human as any other, especially when it comes to reeling under a wave of disappointment and lows.

Last week, a rumor from The Cosmic Circus suggested that Peter Parker will ultimately come up against two of his most iconic villains in the new Spider-Man trilogy that's said to be in the works from Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures, and we may now know how these characters will make their return.
Just in case this is accurate, here's your spoiler warning.
It's said that the plan is to have Spidey encounter the Green Goblin and Doctor Octopus again in the new movies, but that doesn't mean it'll be Norman Osborn and Otto Octavius! The site is now hinting that two other characters will assume these villainous mantles.
"I know many people are curious as to how exactly they will do Doc Ock and Green Goblin again when the time comes. I’d just like to let everyone know, the whole world was watching the final fight during No Way Home.

Taking over the mantle from Andrew Garfield, the Tom Holland version of Spider-Man took a majestic leap straight into the Marvel Cinematic Universe, kick-starting a new era of collaboration between Marvel and Sony. The entry of the teenage web-slinger, though, happened under the banner of Robert Downey Jr’s Iron Man during the split within the Avengers in Captain America: Civil War, with the character remaining in the shadows of his mentor for quite a long time.

Much has been said about Tom Holland’s 4th Spider-Man movie and about its contents, despite the fact that the studios by themselves have so far been utterly mum about it. Spider-Man is quite a fortunate character when it comes to its adaptations. Be it the live-action film, the Spider-Verse series, or games, the character is not all too difficult to get wrong considering just how multifaceted he is. Tom Holland’s portrayal of the character takes on a similar tone, going from a skeptical choice on Marvel’s part to an iconic version of the character.

One aspect that helped Spider-Man pop off in the 60s was his everyday struggles, which helped fans relate to the character, and it soon became the defining aspect of the character. Moreover, this core theme was beautifully translated into the big screen, thanks to Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man trilogy, which didn’t drop the ball while showcasing a hero’s struggle with responsibilities.
However, in the Tom Holland-led trilogy, the personal struggles of the character were sidelined after the first film, as being part of the MCU, the character had bigger problems to worry about. But it appears that the MCU is planning to go back to the character’s roots with the upcoming installment.

Even the biggest stars in the world have bad days. This is something erstwhile Spider-Man Andrew Garfield has been open about, whether he's speaking openly about grieving his mother or admitting that he still has the occasional crisis of confidence, even during the height of his success. The actor spoke to BBC Radio 1 about the latter situation in an interview in 2022, and admitted that he had a rather unorthodox comfort show when he was performing as Prior Walter in the towering, intimidating stage masterpiece "Angels in America."
"I'm doing 'Angels in America' in London and I'm staying in my apartment and 'BoJack' was my kind of comfort show during that time," Garfield told interviewer Ali Plumb, referencing Raphael Bob-Waksberg's incredible, now-ended animated series "BoJack Horseman," which centers on a washed-up celebrity horse. Tom Hardy is one such actor who has surprised audiences with his choices of films and the intensity delivers with every role he plays. In compelling character-driven dramas like Warrior. Locke, Bronson, and The Revenant the actor played some complex characters that are morally layered. Hardy has also played two significant characters in both Marvel and DC films.

While he may have come back to the role of Venom more than once to have some ridiculous comic fun with the role, fans love him more for his intricate portrayal of Bane in The Dark Knight Rises. Being one of the most popular superheroes, Spider-Man has been the subject of numerous adaptations, each representing its own iterations of Peter Parker and the web-slinger. While some of these have become a fan favorite, such as Tobey Maguire, and achieved huge commercial success, such as Tom Holland’s venture into the MCU, Andrew Garfield’s stint as The Amazing Spider-Man remains the least favorite.

Marvel fans seem to be in for something truly great considering how, after X-Men: The Animated Series recently got its blockbuster sequel series, it seems now is the turn for the Spider-Man animated series to get its succeeding show. However, that is yet to be officially greenlit, with only cameos supporting fans’ hope of getting a subsequent series.

Nonetheless, with the ex-showrunner of the latest fan-favorite sequel series to The Animated Series (i.e. Beau DeMayo) confirming just which Spidey it was who made a cameo in X-Men ’97, the stakes are high and fans’ heartiest expectations could be met. In the case of that happening, the sequel web-slinger series needs to follow ’97‘s golden rule for animated revivals.

Joining Julia Roberts, Andrew Garfield and Ayo Edibiri, Chloë Sevigny is to co-star in Luca Guadagnino’s drama, After The Hunt.
Having already worked with the filmmaker for 2022’s Bones And All, Chloë Sevigny is to star in Luca Guadagnino’s forthcoming thriller, After The Hunt.
Sevigny is the latest addition to an already starry cast, which so far includes Julia Roberts, Andrew Garfield, Ayo Edebiri and another Guadagnino favourite, Michael Stuhlbarg.
Guadagnino has been busy of late; his most recent film, the tennis-based love triangle Challengers, emerged to critical applause in April, while his next opus, Queer – starring Daniel Craig and based on the book of the same name by William S Burroughs – is out later in 2024.

Deadpool & Wolverine is not in theaters for almost another two months, but the hopes and aspirations of the Marvel Cinematic Universe—and perhaps now the summer movie season box office itself—are already being placed on Ryan Reynolds’ broad, leather-clad shoulders. So it’s not like the Merc with a Mouth needed any more pressure. Yet pressure he might receive if the latest report out of Deadline is true: director Shawn Levy has entered early talks to helm the next Avengers movie.
The discussions are apparently in early stages, with the trade noting Levy has been handed the latest draft of the screenplay by Michael Waldron, but that Levy has apparently not decided if he would like to direct the film. Furthermore, Marvel Studios will continue approaching other directors while awaiting an answer about Levy’s interest. However, it would seem that Marvel has seen something they like in...

The cast for Luca Guadagnino's upcoming thriller After The Hunt just keeps getting better and better. Since last month's news that Andrew Garfield has signed on to star alongside Julia Roberts in the Challengers filmmaker's latest project, The Bear star Ayo Edebiri has already slipped into the movie's ensemble. And now, as reported by Deadline, Guadagnino's Call Me By Your Name collaborator and Academy Award nominee Michael Stuhlbarg has become the latest acting heavyweight to join the film.

Beloved Character Will Skip Deadpool and Wolverine to Avoid 'Messing with Logan's Timeline' - Main Image
Deadpool & Wolverine is expected to feature several surprising cameos, but there’s one character fans have been wanting to see: X-23. However, it seems like it won't happen in the Marvel Cinematic Universe to avoid messing with Logan’s timeline.
Fans know by now that Wolverine dies in the 2017 Logan, which was supposed to be Hugh Jackman’s final movie as the adamantium-clawed superhero.
However, the actor will make his triumphant return in Deadpool & Wolverine.
Given X-23’s importance in Logan and the possibility that the third Deadpool film may feature remnants of the 20 Century Studios movie, it’s the perfect time for Dafne Keen to reprise her role as Laura Kinney after seven years.
Sadly, she confirmed in an interview with On Demand Entertainment that it wasn’t happening.

Eddie Brock and his…better(?) half “may not make it out of [this one] alive.” That’s probably why the third and final film in the “Venom” series is subtitled “The Last Dance.”
On Monday, Sony Pictures released the trailer for the Marvel movie that officially makes “Venom” a trilogy. You would think by now the Tom Hardy character and his frenemy alien symbiote would have their timing down a bit better, but an early (and comedic) scene in the official trailer proves they’ve still got some work to do. The levity soon gives way to Brock/Venom biting four guys’ heads off — classic Venom.
In “Venom: The Last Dance,” the guys are on the lam — and it’s not just their Earth enemies who are closing in. The film’s tagline is “‘Til Death Do They Part,” which does not particularly promise a happy ending.
In addition to Hardy, “Venom 3” stars Chiwetel Ejiofor,...

If there is one fandom that is allowed to have the most trust issues, it is probably Marvel fans. The franchise is known for being especially untrustworthy with the information it gives out. The secrecy surrounding every single project in the MCU is ingrained in the very fabric of the franchise. The perfect example of how far they are willing to go to keep key details under wraps is what Andrew Garfield did in the days leading up to the release of Spider-Man: No Way Home.
Andrew Garfield in Spider-Man: No Way Home l Marvel
The actor has famously been condemned for how much he lied during the release of the film. Fans would constantly bombard him with questions about his appearance in the film, and he would deny it over and over. When the film was released and fans found out that he was, in fact, in the movie,...

Marvel Studios has a rather odd calendar in store for 2024. After years of lining up a slew of movies and shows post the Avengers: Endgame storyline, it has dialed back significantly with Deadpool & Wolverine standing out as its sole release for the year. Regardless, the Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman starrer has raked in sufficient hype and nostalgia to sail forward as one of the most anticipated Marvel movies in recent times, setting up the stage for a mega box-office showdown.

We have an update on Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios' search for a director to take the helm of Spider-Man 4, and it seems Ms. Marvel and Bad Boys: Ride or Die filmmakers Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah may indeed be in contention to land the gig.
According to insider Daniel Richtman, El Arbi and Fallah - who infamously helmed the Batgirl movie Warner Bros. decided to scrap as a tax write-off - are "in the mix" to direct the Spider-Man: No Way Home follow-up, but it sounds like there are other candidates.
Richtman also indicates that directors with "a current connection with Sony and Marvel Studios" are being looked at, and the studios may also be focused on enlisting "an indie director like they did with Jon Watts."
