Gilmore Girls famously had more dialogue than most other shows. They crammed it all into an hour (less with commercial breaks) by saying it so fast. Scott Patterson frequently mentions the page counts of scripts on his podcast, I Am All In, and credits star Lauren Graham with her ability to memorize pages in one pass. One time, Patterson admitted the cast would make a game of last minute memorization.

Olivia Hack was the guest on the Oct. 12 episode of I Am All In. After discussing her role as Yale roommate Tana Schrick in season 4 of Gilmore Girls, Hack asked Patterson how the cast was able to memorize each script for seven seasons.

Gilmore Girls made the entire cast fashion icons. Whether you wanted to emulate the whimsical looks of Stars Hollow, or the celebrity glamor of stars on the red carpet, the cast of Gilmore Girls were role models. As Jess, Milo Ventimiglia was a small town boy on the show. In real life he was more experimental with fashion. He got one look from Rob Estes, who played Jess’s father on two episodes.

Estes was a guest on Scott Patterson’s I Am All In podcast on Sept. 18. He shared the story of the day he spent shopping with Ventimiglia, and what Ventimiglia picked out to duplicate his Gilmore Girls dad.

Gilmore Girls was a breeze to watch, but it was a pressure cooker for the actors. Leads like Lauren Graham and Alexis Bledel had to memorize pages and pages of dialogue every week. Even guest stars had a steep learning curve. Olivia Hack said one scene was so traumatic for her, she never forgot the dialogue nearly 20 years later.

Joining Gilmore Girls in season 4 was already a whirlwind for Hack. Since Tana was a 15-year-old prodigy, Hack had to shoot her first scene twice, because she looked too close to her real age the first time.

Gilmore Girls made Alexis Bledel a star. It was her first credited role and she took off from there. Fame and success didn’t change her though. Bledel’s co-star, Olivia Hack, who played one of Rory’s Yale roommates, Tana Schrick, remembers Bledel still drove a beat up old car during the heyday of the show.

Joining the cast of Gilmore Girls wasn’t easy for Hack. She had to film her first scene twice because the first time, she looked too old. Tana was supposed to be much younger than Rory.

Gilmore Girls was an hour long drama, but with such witty dialogue it was equal parts comedy. That is, it was comedy for the audience. The actors still had to play it as straight drama, because it was their lives. Even the best of us break from time to time. Third time was the charm for Gilmore Girls guest star Rusty Schwimmer, after two other auditions for the show. Once she filmed, Schwimmer said there was one co-star who could make her break on the show.

Schwimmer was a guest on Scott Patterson’s I Am All In podcast on Dec. 14 to discuss her episodes of Gilmore Girls. Schwimmer played Bruce, the midwife in two episodes when Sookie (Melissa McCarthy) had her baby. There was one person in the Gilmore Girls cast who made Schwimmer ruin takes by laughing.

Michael Dante Dimartino and Bryan Konietzko’s “Avatar: The Last Airbender” is widely regarded as one of the greatest animated series of all time, so it’s not surprising many fans are approaching Netflix’s live-action series with caution. The streaming giant confirmed in September 2018 it was developing a live-action “Avatar” series with original creators Dimartino and Konietzko, but the two showrunners exited the project in August 2020 over creative differences, further fueling fan skepticism of the series. During a virtual reunion for the original “Avatar” voice cast (via Uproxx), many participants questioned the live-action project.
“I just don’t know how you fulfill that any better than [the animated] show did,” said Dee Bradley Baker, who voiced Appa and Momo on the series. “I’m open to whatever they do with the live-action series, which I know nothing about, but it’s like, ‘Well, how do you do this better than the...

Hey Arnold!'s TV movie now has a title - Hey Arnold!: The Jungle Movie - and will feature Alfred Molina...
Hey, football head! Back in November, Variety confirmed that Nickelodeon is developing a new Hey Arnold! TV movie, which will "feature a storyline that picks up where the original series ended and resolves unanswered plotlines–including the whereabouts of Arnold’s parents, long missing from the program."
Today, Variety has unleashed a few more Hey Arnold! scoops. We now know that the TV movie sequel to the original series is going by the title Hey Arnold!: The Jungle Movie and that Alfred Molina is among its cast.
Spider-Man 2's Doc Ock actor will play Lasombra, "an infamous river pirate operating from a secret compound in the jungles of San Lorenzo."
Mason Vale Cotton is the new voice of Arnold, while the original Arnold - Lane Toran - will lend his voice to 'several other roles'. Who wants to bet that one of them is Arnold's dad?
Much of the original cast is returning, too. Francesca Marie Smith will reprise Helga, Anndi McAfee will play Phoebe again, Justin Shenkarow returns as Harold, Olivia Hack is back as Rhonda, and Nika Futterman is Olga once more.
The original voice of Gerald - Jamil Smith - has been replaced by Benjamin Flores Jnr. Smith, like Mr Toran, will voice some other characters.
We'll let you know when we get a release date or a trailer for The Jungle Movie, which is being helmed by Hey Arnold!'s creator Craig Bartlett.

Here's the story, of a lovely lady ... who starred in "The Brady Bunch Movie" back in 1995! February 17th marks the 20th anniversary of the still-hilarious film adaptation starring Shelley Long, Christine Taylor and even featured a cameo from RuPaul as a guidance counselor. The flick transported the series' vintage clothes, throwback songs and feel-good attitude to the '90s, where the Bradys often clashed with the modern world. To celebrate the anniversary, we tracked down little Cindy Brady herself, actress Olivia Hack. Now 31, Hack considers the flick a perfect "time capsule" of her life at the time. "I feel so old, I can't believe it's been 20 years," Olivia tells toofab's Brian Particelli. "It's a trip to watch it back, we had a really good time! I don't sit back and watch [the movie and its sequel] all the time, but when they're on TV, you remember a certain day that you shot this. It's forever,...
